Delayed Ripening for Fruits

The ripening of the fruits leads to changes in colour, texture, aroma, and nutritional quality of mature seed-bearing plant organs. Ethylene plays a key regulatory role in ripening of many fruits, including some representing important contributors of nutrition and fiber. Hence in order to delay the ripening of fruits the ethylene generated is removed using Activated Carbon Fabric. Activated Carbon Fabric offers a higher adsorption when compared with granular activated carbon due to higher contact surface area.
